I’m specifically asking about Santa Clara University, where I am a double legacy. However, I don’t want to apply ED but I’m worried that my legacy status will not be considered if I apply EA. According to the CDS, Almuni relation is labeled “Important” and on the website, “As …We did ED , as my son really loves the school and always wanted to go there . We already have some of our friends kids and cousins there . As it was his top choice , we did ED , and we did do our research and I know that schools do look at NPC . But seems like not at SCU , should have gone EA maybe 🤔 . Not sure if that could have helped with negotiation I do understand the binding part ...I don’t know for sure…but one of my daughter’s first year roommates family lived locally and she lived on campus…but went home every.single.weekend. Here: Santa Clara University requires that all first and second-year students live on campus. Our office understands that for several reasons, your student may have a need for an exception.
