While in game we get acknowledgments like Champion, General, Highlord, etc, and are almost always responsible for moving the mountains, we don't truly exist as individuals outside of a few rare cases. Your character didn't defeat Kil'Jaeden, a group of heroes did. You didn't stop Balnazaar, or help ...Orgrimmar and ironforge are both stated to have a population around 40k. These are the largest cities besides Stormwind. Stormwind has a population of 200.000. These numbers are from wowpedia I think, can't recall. They only count the cities, not the surrounding settlements. In lore, everything is bigger, comparable to real world civilizations.In what looked like over 30 years on Azeroth, they spent a millenia with the Army of the Light. That's about the same ratio as we're (potentially) getting with this skip, with a little under two years of Azeroth time translating to 35 years of Alt Draenor time.
